General Guidelines:
- Maximum Time Off: Generally, the maximum duration for continuous time off should not exceed two weeks, unless required by law.
- Salary During Leave: Regular salary is maintained during approved absences under these guidelines.
- No Compensation Substitution: Absence without requests under these guidelines does not entitle employees to compensation or other remuneration in lieu of time off.

Reasons for Leave:

- Planned Absences: Generally, a minimum of one week's notice is required; two weeks is preferred. Managers may adjust notice requirements and have the discretion to approve or deny leave requests.
- Unplanned Absences (Up to Four Days): Employees should provide as much notice as possible, with daily updates expected. For absences exceeding four days, contact both the manager and Human Resources.
